Confessions of a Socially Acceptable Hoarder

Gratitude

Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends, and much gratitude to all of our friends across the globe!

Supposedly our little Eos.Earth adventure, almost 3 years long now (WTF?), has been a 100% self funded endeavour to inspire hope in everyone we meet. It is the very reason we named her EOS, Goddess of the Dawn, representing the hope and new opportunities available with each new day.

We have been asked a 1000 times how we manage? How can we pay for this life? How we manage living a minimalist lifestyle aboard our <100 sq ft. tiny floating sailboat.  Most often, we are asked, how do we PAY FOR IT ALL???

Well the truth is, we manage only because of the help and support of our friends and family. Not financially, more on a purely physical, emotional, spiritual level, some even intellectually. LOL.  To all our beautiful friends across America, Mexico and the world, all those that have let us couch surf, to the ones that answer our calls when it all seems too much, please know how grateful we are for you.  We know that we didn't get here alone.

Thank you one and all. You are why we do this, because the world they keep harping on about is not real, the real world is not about hate, money, lack or distrust. It is about one thing and one thing only......LOVE, for one another, for other living creatures and, most especially, for the very Mother that gives us all life...........

As members of the No Shoes Navy,  our boy Kenny Chesney says it best:

I Didn't Get Here Alone
Kenny Chesney

"To everyone who helped pave my way
If it weren't for you I wouldn't be here today
To all my friends, the girls, the broken hearts
All the critics, cynics and doubters, y'all know who you are
Mom and dad, and all your prayers
And those looking down from up there

I didn't get here alone
That road's just too rough and long
I might be the one the spotlight's on
But, I didn't get here alone

Yeah, I know I didn't get here alone

That old ball coach that pushed me way too hard
That preacher man said 'Trust in God' and you'll go far
And I'll never forget the songs that changed my path
Just one more reason I'm where I'm at

Yeah, I hit walls and I wanted to quit
I picked myself up but the truth is, yeah, the truth is

I didn't get here alone
That road's just too rough and long
I might be the one the spotlight's on
But, I didn't get here alone

Yeah, I know I didn't get here alone
The crew, the band, yeah, and all you fans
That stood in line rain or shine
I want to thank everybody out there for the ride

'Cause I didn't get here alone
Ain't traveled one mile on my own
You're why I sing my song
You're why I sing my song

I didn't get here alone
That road's just too rough and long
I might be the one the spotlight's on
But I didn't get here alone
Yeah, I know I didn't get here alone......"

Thanks to all of your love and inspiration, your support and your belief that we can make a difference just by being ourselves.

    Sandra Schneider

Dr. Schneider is a published author, photographer, captain, veterinarian, yogi, chef, and explorer in residence.

Her adventures have spanned the globe and provided a rich and profound exploration of  health and wellness.  Not only her own, but also her patients'.

In her travels, she explored a variety of ancient healing modalities, which contrast starkly with modern medicine in many ways. Using these traditional techniques, she has been able to improve the health and wellness of her community.

Ultimately, she learned to trust the body's amazing ability to heal itself when provided with proper nourishment.
She was most impressed with the powerful healing properties of love, light and empowerment.

Through her writing, photos, films, and other creative works, Dr. Sandra seeks to inspire others to love and accept themselves, follow their hearts and make this world a better place.

It is her profound wish that we all learn about our innate abilities to heal ourselves, each other, and our home, Mama Gaia (Earth).
