Michael SylvesterAlmost 22 years ago, Sylvester & Associates came to life from inside Mainland China and thrived as an environmental and human rights law firm supported by our corporate advisory and trustee work in SE Asia.
Yet, there are things one can not really discuss openly while residing in Modern China The last century on planet Earth was run from Washington. The next will be orchestrated from Beijing. So, what that billion and a half people think about our environment is going to steer the fate of our collective future. It is my sincere hope to provide science and nature documentaries to all those living in the supercities of Asia who will never be able to be out here the way we are and see what we see. Dr. Sandra SchneiderAs veterinarian with a passion for wildlife, Dr. Sandra loves her work and gladly poured heart and soul into it for the last 20 years. Unfortunately, like many of colleagues, she was not prepared for the profound mental and emotional challenges of working in the veterinary profession. Turns out that was just the beginning of the story. After experiencing catastrophic orthopedic injury, Sandra endured years of misdiagnosis and opioid treatment, survived multiple brushes with death, until finally being diagnosed with Lupus in 2012. Unfortunately. the western medicine she had studied and utilized in her work offered no answers. In fact, every interaction with the medical establishment resulted in worsening symptoms. There was no gentle hand to guide her along on this terrifying journey, only mistrust, misinformation and miscommunication. The journey that followed has lasted 15 years and circumnavigated the world several times. During her travels, Dr. Sandra studied traditional healing modalities in multiple countries (Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese medicine, etc) , volunteered with multiple wildlife rescue organizations, and learned a lot about illness vs wellness. All her experiences have also helped her better understand her own nature, the nature of man and of the cosmos. Now, seeking to embrace the gifts she has been given, Dr. Sandra shares what she has learned. Her aim is to help people plagued by chronic pain and illness. With the intention of spreading hope, joy and opportunity, she continues to explore the world around her, learning to enjoy every day that she is blessed with here on this lonely planet. Only now a new the journey begins, aboard s/v Eos. Please stay tuned for updates on the adventure! See Also; Dr. Sandra Schneider on Linkedin |
